Kevin Conroy, who provided the voice of Batman in both the animated series and the excellent Batman: Arkham games, has passed away. The actor was 66 years old and died after a battle with cancer.
Numerous fans associate Conroy’s voice with The Dark Knight. After all, Conroy donned the Batman cape in 85 episodes of the animated series, from 1992 to 1995. He also did an excellent job in Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham games, even reprising the role for the recently released multiplayer brawler MultiVersus.
Warner Bros. already posted a statement about the passing of the actor and stated that his performance of Batman is one of the best that The Dark Knight has ever known.
Other actors also expressed accolades as farewells. Likewise, Mark Hamill, who plays The Joker in the Batman Arkham games, was emotional about the loss.
Stunned by the loss of this brilliant actor. Words can’t express my admiration and respect for the man. I loved him like a brother.#RIPKevinConroy pic.twitter.com/THlaZ2uTSh
