Sports cars owned and driven by Peter Sellers and Rowan Atkinson will go up for auction this weekend.

The artist’s 1993 Lancia HF Integrale Evo II sports car is estimated to sell for up to £75,000 at a classic car sale at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, on Saturday.
The car had covered just over 87,000 km when, in May 2021, Atkinson bought it.
The TV star has spent thousands over the years on engine maintenance. In 2021 the petrolhead spent £2500 on her service and soon after spent another £1800 on a light repainting.

A Silverstone Auctions spokesperson says: “He has enjoyed many happy hours on the car, although total mileage is still under 90,000km, and history confirms that the money spent recently has been good at keeping the little Lancia in such fabulous conditions.”
Inspector Clouseau actor Peter Seller’s 1966 Lotus Elan S3-SE was delivered to his Haymarket in the year of its production.
According to Silverstone Auctions, it was driven by him, with his wife Britt Ekland in the passenger seat, until 1969.
The rare model, part of the Piddington Collection, is offered with a reference price of between £80,000 and £120,000.
The car has had just four owners, the first being the Pink Panther star who purchased the vehicle on June 22, 1966.

The Silverstone Auctions sale will take place on February 25 at the Race Retro Show at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
