Rebel Wilson has revealed her onscreen kiss with a woman had an impact on her own sexuality.
The Australian actress, 42, admitted that she was nervous about kissing her co-star Charlotte Gainsbourg while filming her latest movie The Almond and the Seahorse.
“I’d never kissed any woman before so I was thinking, “Oh, God, how’s this going to go?” She told The Hollywood Reporter.

Rebel said that she was able to kiss a woman because of her film role, and later on she decided to do the same in her personal life.
She explained that she had been in a relationship with a woman before but not in a sexual relationship. They had never kissed or slept together. “But then Charlotte asked me to kiss her. I didn’t think it was that important.
“Then, strangely, after kissing her in the professional life, I thought, well maybe I should try that for real in my private life and see what happens,” she laughed.

She continued, saying that if the onscreen kiss had never happened that she might not have ‘ever met’ her now-girlfriend Ramona Agruma.
“Those experiences opened my eyes to possibilities. She said, “I’m grateful for these two experiences.”
“It has completely changed my love story. It’s an amazing thing.

Rebel stated that Ramona had met her at the end of the year and that The Almond and the Seahorse were both filmed in 2021.
It is Rebel’s first drama role, playing an archaeologist who grapples with her husband’s traumatic brain injury that leads her to start having an affair.
The film will premiere on December 16th and will be available for viewing on Apple TV or Prime Video.
Rebel stated that Ramona had met her at the end of the year and she filmed The Almond and the Seahorse in 2021.

There was a lot of backlash, with critics accusing Hornery and Wilson of trying to ‘out’ Wilson. They also slammed Wilson for complaining about her taking over the announcement.

Rebel surprised her Instagram followers in November when she announced she’d welcomed a daughter named Royce.

She wrote, “Beyond proud, I announce the birth of Royce Lillian (my first child),”
Wilson expressed her gratitude for her surrogate, saying that she couldn’t describe the love she feels for her. “She’s a beautiful miracle!”
