ABU DHABI, January 2, 2023 (WAM) — Rabdan Academy received the first batch of cadets from the Republic of Indonesia Defense University (RIDU) to study at Rabdan Academy during the next semester as part of its student exchange program, one of the aspects of the cooperation between the two parties.
The first batch included ten third-year students who will enroll in the Academy’s various science, academic, research, and professional programs in security, defense, emergency preparedness, and crisis management.
Rabdan Academy implements its student exchange program in collaboration with its partners from different universities around the world in a unique context that combines academic, cultural, societal and professional aspects, contributing to the exchange of knowledge, experiences and skills and the promotion of joint research and development.
This program is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding between RIDU and Rabdan Academy, signed in September in Sentul, Indonesia, in the presence of Prabowo Subianto, the Indonesian Defense Minister.
Prabowo met with the cadets of the first batch of RIDU at the Ministry of Defence, Jakarta, and emphasized the importance of properly executing this study assignment and taking this opportunity to equip himself not only with knowledge, but also with international experience.
