Professor Green took to Instagram on Friday to give fans a health update after having a “stomach job”, while sharing a snap apparently from the hospital.

The 39-year-old rapper revealed that he has had an unexpected period of ‘butters’ (meaning ugly in urban slang) since his second round of surgery last week, but remains hopeful of his recovery.

Having suffered from chronic digestive problems since birth, he was just a newborn baby when he had his first stomach operation for pyloric stenosis.

‘I’ve had the most butters!’ Professor Green took to Instagram on Friday to give a health update as he shared a snap at the hospital after having “worked on his stomach”.

This meant that food could not enter his small intestine, leading to excessive projectile vomiting and potentially lethal levels of dehydration.

In his latest post, the NME winner wrote: ‘I’M GETTING BETTER. I don’t look or feel like that, but a big part of winning this was giving up the things that gave me temporary respite; meanwhile my health escaped me in a car without brakes.

‘The first round of work on my stomach showed promise! I had the second round last week and have had one of the most unexpected periods since but hoping that once it settles down I will break the new record of not throwing up for a month (it was several times a day) which I achieved after the first stretch and freeze of my pyloric SPHINTER (the muscle that food passes through the stomach, or in my case not).

‘The steepest learning curve has been not getting too excited about a good day or two and thinking I can go back to the way things were, do too much and take one step forward and two…ten steps back (see my last post – the beginning of overexcitation).

‘So yeah, I feel horrible but also positive because I know I’m doing the right things, the necessary things to do it right.

‘Thank you to everyone who signs up, who has given me the space I need, forgiven me for being a sick note over the past few years and to my family who deal with how unpredictable this is on a daily basis while caring for me (sometimes violent). ) encouragement to keep moving in the right direction.

‘@steven said in an interview (not verbatim) about how everything is based on one thing, and if that thing disappears, everything else falls apart too; that is health, and he is right.

‘So… health first, and everything else will follow. No distractions. I have delayed things for the right reasons and I am using the time I have to be 100% fit and fit. Naked with me x.’

Earlier this month, Green admitted she fears ‘imposing her mistakes’ on her son Slimane and prays the baby ‘doesn’t suffer like he did growing up’.

The musician made the moving confession in an exclusive interview with MailOnline, where he also revealed that he felt ‘ungrateful’ after finding fame, as he hoped it would ‘absolve’ him of his past traumas.

He said: ‘I think a lot of people try to impose too much of themselves and their mistakes on their children and I really don’t want to do that.

“My main concern was that Slimane wouldn’t go through the things that I went through growing up and I pray that he doesn’t, which is why he’s incredibly healthy.”

“I had my first operation at six weeks old, you know, that was a concern for me and a concern, but he’s in incredible health.”

Stephen continued: “He’s not showing any signs of anxiety or instability because he’s got a mum and dad and he’s just brilliant.”

‘It’s the scariest thing in the world to become a parent. It’s the hardest job in the world too. I guess it’s as hard as you care, and I care a hell of a lot.

‘But with that I have to remember that I can’t project my anxieties and problems onto him. I’ve done a lot of the work, but when I had a child I realized that everything I thought I had processed and dealt with, I actually hadn’t.

‘And I had to deal with it all over again in a new way because I was experiencing something that is a huge life event that I had never been through before.

‘That has happened periodically throughout my life. When a big life event happens, you tend to have to face the same things again, just from a different angle.’
