Homicide detectives are investigating after the body of a woman was found naked in a driveway with injuries to the back of her head in the early hours of the morning.
An ambulance was called to a street in Moorebank, in south-west Sydney, at 6am this morning.
Paramedics found the woman in a driveway on Bradshaw Avenue, but were unable to resuscitate her.
Homicide detectives have established a crime scene after a woman was found dead in a driveway in western Sydney this morning.
Daily Mail Australia understands that a local man returning home from work was stopped by a man in the street early this morning.
“(The witness) was coming home from work and was stopped on the street by a man,” a source said.
‘He asked her ‘do you know the emergency number for the police?’
He saw a woman in the driveway. She was naked.
“There was quite a bit of blood on the ground. And she had injuries to the back of her head.
“(He) then took the woman’s pulse, but she was deceased.”
A source told Daily Mail Australia that the woman had injuries to the back of her head.
Police take crime scene photographs on Bradshaw Avenue in western Sydney
Homicide Squad detectives are now investigating the death and closed off the road and established a crime scene.
A NSW Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services were called to Bradshaw Avenue at around 6am and found the woman in the driveway of a house but were unable to revive her.”
A crime scene has been established on Bradshaw Avenue as officers from the City of Liverpool Police Area Command conduct a canvass of the area.
“Detectives attached to the City of Liverpool PAC are now investigating the circumstances of the woman’s death, with the help of detectives attached to the State Crime Command Homicide Squad.”
