A 21-year-old man fights for his life while three others need care after an explosion at a car dealership.
The four men – all in their 20s – were on the scene at Gold Coast Isuzu on Newheath Drive in Arundel when a truck caught fire just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
A 21-year-old man suffered burns to 90 percent of his body, while two others suffered severe burns in the explosion.
A spokesman for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) told Daily Mail Australia that four crews responded to a call that a workshop was on fire at Newheath Drive, Arundel at 07:50.

Four men – all in their 20s – were on the scene at Gold Coast Isuzu on Newheath Drive in Arundel when a truck caught fire shortly before 8 a.m. on Tuesday. All necessary treatments
“Four crews arrived and quickly contained the fire in a small area of a workshop, with the fire extinguished by 8.10 am,” a QFES spokesperson said.
Queensland Ambulance Service supervisor Stuart Cutajar said the 21-year-old man suffered ‘life-threatening’ burns and was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBH) for treatment.
A second man suffered ‘significant’ burns to his face, arm and torso, while another suffered burns to his hand.
A fourth employee who witnessed the incident was treated for shock at the scene.
Mr Cutajar said workers on the ground ‘have done a fantastic job of helping us treat these patients’ by providing first aid before paramedics arrived.
A unit remains on site to investigate the cause of the fire.
