Carrick attended the Old Bailey today wearing a navy blue suit and blue tie and appeared to plead not guilty.
He is accused of illegal imprisonment for illegally and injuriously imprisoning a woman and raping her by penetrating the vagina twice and the anus twice.

The crimes are said to have taken place between July 11 and 31, 2003.
He will face trial at Southwark Crown Court on February 6, 2023.
